Do I need to study Computer Science?
This Apprenticeship is intended for students doing a full-time degree program in Computer Science or related technical fields (STEM).
Who can apply?
This Apprenticeship is intended for students in their first or second year of an accredited full-time degree program in Computer Science or related technical fields, with an anticipated graduation date between 2021 and 2024.
Do I have to attend the Summer Internship Training in Financial Markets?
Yes, attending the Summer Internship Training is an integral part of this process. The three-week Internship is where we will get to know each other better and see how you learn, but is also an opportunity for you to learn what we teach and use our technology first-hand. At the end of the Internship, we will invite the top performers to join the Tech Team in London for a 12 - month Apprenticeship as a Tech Intern.

I don’t live in the UK, can I do it anyway?
The apprenticeship programme is reserved for students that have a residence in the UK. Even though we are currently working remotely due to Covid19, we plan to return to our Central London office as soon as the situation allows it.
When will I find out if I was successful?
Our aim is to conclude Stage 1 and Stage 2 by the first week of July 2020. Successful candidates will be required to attend our Summer Internship Training between August 3rd and August 24h.
Is the apprenticeship paid?
Yes, the placement will be paid.
How long does the placement last?
If successful you will be joining the Tech Team in London for a 12 - month Apprenticeship as a Tech Intern.
Is it full time or part time?
The Apprenticeship is intended to be a full-time 12-month placement in London. In exceptional cases, we are open to evaluating a part-time collaboration with a minimum of two days a week.
What work will I be doing?
As a tech intern, you will have the chance to experience a variety of roles in a cross-functional team, whilst learning different programming languages and platforms. You will be able to leverage your strengths while filling the gap in the areas with which you have the least experience.
We work with a mix of open-source software and proprietary solutions on our projects.
Can I work remotely?
We offer 1 day remote working to all members of our team.
When do applications close?
The application process for the placement year with Amplify closes on the 17th July.
